Why We're Here

You may be wondering why PURGE was created. The answer is simple: for our daughter. The mantra du Joir is "change is coming" and that is what I fear most. As a parent, particularly a parent of a child born into communism and brought to America to avoid such perils, I am frightened at just what exact "change is coming."

History has been made in America, indeed. On one level we've seen democracy at its very best in that more Americans than ever participated in the election process. However, I would be less than honest if I did not point out the disparaging way in which the books have been rewritten.

For the first time in our nation's history, the people have chosen to elect a candidate that is HALF African American and the son of a (legal) IMMIGRANT. The media, in all its glory for a game publicly fought and overtly supported, is delirious with itself to the point that they fail to provide the truth. They choose to report that Obama is the first African American President born of Immigrant parents. Wrong on both counts.

While on the media, I have to address the flagrant misuse of power shown over the past two year of the election process. Never before has this level of bias been so clearly flaunted, excluding Dan Rather's Bush debacle. I was schooled for four years in the principles of unbiased journalism and it would appear that the text has been rewritten. Barak Obama was given a free pass on literally every issue that even remotely attempted to present all aspects of his character. Furthermore, I found it incredulous that an effigy of Sarah Palin could hang in a front yard for weeks with media coverage and no backlash, yet two college students in Kentucky did the same with Obama and arrests were made and another media storm was created. Likewise, the FBI, CIA, judicial courts, White House Administration and every other legal body in our nation was outraged at a purported "leak" on the immigrant status of Obama's Aunt who has resided in our country for years now ILLEGALLY and yet these same government bodies who are responsible for THE RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS OF ALL CITIZENS did absolutely nothing to investigate ACORN, voter fraud, Reverend Jeremiah Wright and the L.A. Times and their suffocatingly blatant use of the Shield Laws.

Our nation was founded on the principles that we are a nation of the people, by the people and for the people. While Miles Standish was not a member of the official writing team of the textbooks that taught our fledgling nation, he was absolutely right about one thing: if you don't work, you don't eat. This simple notion is a Biblical ethos that, as a society, we've forgotten. In its place is the rhetoric of change where democracy is about to be replaced with socialism. Capitalism will go the way of Communism. Morality will go the way of hedonism. Justice will be trumped by greed. And, Obama, the man who chanted for two years how he best represented the "middle American" will rape, pillage and destroy the constitution until only a caste system remains where the working middle class will be obliterated as a result of sharing what little piece of the American pie they've earned with similar residents (legal and otherwise) who will ultimately live better with less effort.

Indeed the people have spoken, or as Oprah put it: "Hope won." I would ask Ms. Winfrey or any of the hundreds of minions who do her bidding, where is the hope now? America is in a recession due in large part to the unbridled greed that flourished through Fannie and Freddie which was started by Carter and allowed to grow like a weed under Clinton. Where is the hope for the future of our nation when the man behind the desk in the oval office has never once apologized for his KNOWN associations with and support of domestic and international terrorists? Where is the hope when the Commander and Chief of our Armed Forces has barely more experience in foreign affairs than a new recruit has military know-how after completing basic training? The people have spoken; they've chosen anything that wasn't Bush or Republican to be perfectly frank. That is the cold hard truth.

So, what can I as a parent do? I am doing it right here and now. I believe that our way of living is on the threshold of extinction and for the sake of my daughter's future I will do whatever I can to stop it. I value my freedoms, my voice and my constitution (as long as it's still a legal document in the United States). To the best of my ability I hope to:
  • PURGE our government of politicians who continue to abuse their power, legislate programs that promote welfare, socialism and the dismantling of my rights;
  • PURGE the news media of any allusion that their biased representation of the truth is real and to make sure that any legislation that would give greater control to our media (i.e. reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine) is thwarted;
  • Protect my purse strings from those in government who seek to steel from the middle to give to those who do nothing to support themselves, support the nation that provides their financial viability or their country that protects their own livelihood;
  • Stop any future legislative actions that would further enable the mismanagement of income through debt forgiveness or any other acts of non-accountability.
  • Work with citizens across the United States and internationally to try and protect the basic doctrines of our country: the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Whoopie Goldberg so proudly told her audience that the people have spoken. I would only remind Ms. Goldberg that the people also spoke of Jesus Christ and crucified him. Was than any better a decision?
